Tri-Cities High School Alumni Association in conjunction with Tri-Cities High School Cheerleaders are Walking for a Cure! Each lap is $5 with a minimum of 2 laps.


Our 2022 Pink Warrior is Tri-Cities High School alumni and our “Superman”, Dr. Dan A. Sims from the Trendsetting Class of 1989!

Dr. Sims is a native of East a Point, GA and currently the Superintendent for Bibb County Schools in Macon, GA. Dr. Sims brings 27 years of faithful experience to the success of students and has demonstrated passion for community service throughout his professional career. Dr. Sims is a three-time graduate of Georgia State University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership, and a Doctor of Education Degree in Educational Leadership.

Dr. Sims holds a tremendous amount of titles, but one important title is SURVIVOR. Dr. Sims is a 24-year cancer survivor. For more than 20 years following, Dr. Sims helped to lead efforts for the American Cancer Society’s South Fulton Relay for Life.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the American Cancer Society’s South Fulton Relay for Life in his name on behalf of TCHSAA and our Tri-Cities High School Cheerleaders.
